Introduction to HeadPulse.co.uk

I hope that those who suffer with brain disorders or abnormalities can share their stories in the forum and feel that they can voice their concerns. There are thousands of people who suffer as do the friends and families around them. If you feel you do not wish to share your story in the forum you can mail me directly from the contact page.

I also hope you can share informative information that could help others in a similar situation e.g. any counseling you might of had or associations that you may have come across that have found to be helpful during or recovery. I would also like to take the opportunity for the families and friends of those who may have lost their fight against brain abnormalities / disorders on the remembrance wall.

Any charities or support groups that can benefit from my website by sharing their information on various events. I would like you to also write in the forum as it would be appreciated.

Introduction to Myself

My name is Sharon Double.

I would like to share my story and hear others, giving people the opportunity to voice their hopes, fears, tears, frustration & experiences when ones brain becomes a problem to live with.

I hope this website is a positive step towards feeling stronger, not only to sufferers but to their families.

This website is something that I have wanted to do since my recovery and is all new to me. I will be honest with you, I have no idea where this will lead for me or the website, but I need your help to help others who have suffered with brain abnormalities. This site is for you!

This is about understanding ones ability to survive life changing experiences, to come out fighting and to be stronger for it.

I hope with your help that this website will be a portal for people seeking help/information and support.

I believe everyone is individual and their circumstances are different. However, I would love to hear your story (good and bad), and remember there is hope in all of us.

A huge thank you to all the Doctors and Nurses at the North Staffordshire Hospital, who saved my life and help me get better.

I would like to thank Craig for setting up this site for me. Without him this would not be possible.

I would also like to thank and send love out to my partner, Mark (who I love with all my heart), who stands by me without question. My love goes to my family and friends who have supported me through the good times and the bad. I hope my late Mum and Dad watch over me giving me guidance... Love ya Mum and Dad x

A Big Thank You to you all who have took the time to read my website, and look forward to your input.

The Very Best Wishes

Sharon x
